sorry ms. hodge i forgot blog 3 =]
Well... so far so good on the documentary front. John and I finished up a for sure topic for our documentary. The title will be "Call of Addiction: Addiction with video games". Mike just reserved a camera, so we will begin filming soon. I cant wait to make the trailer.
Interviewing... From reading the passage, i believe that interviews are the heart and soul of a documentary. They are the best way to get a professional opinion. i dont think the documentary should just be a big interview, but maybe 1 or 2 short interviews. The interviews we can film, can be in any location, just make sure there relevent to what the interviewee is explaining.

Blog Post 2....How Read Does it Feel?
~ The documentary process is starting off slowly, but steadily gaining steam as we have made a group and pretty much assembled an idea. I will be working with John Ulrich and Mike Clark on most likely the topic.... "Call of Duty : Hobby or Addiction." (Hodge...DONT LAUGH) it's a really contempory idea for todays world. Were going to show the argument that it is simply just a hobby, and people who become "addicted" simply just enjoy playing the game.
~ "How Real Does It Feel" explained how "the blair witch project" and "paranormal activity" were not documentaries, but portraited themselves as one. When first seeing a preview for such movies, your made to believe they are real or based off true events, but later find out they are fake. They are not documentaries, but are more point of view shots and amatuer like filming. Do people want real documentaries or made up events filmed like a documentary? It is a question i asked myself while reading this passage.

READING RESPONSE/ DOCUMENTARY BLOG POST 1
When having a solid group of John and I, along with mike clark ( hahahaha) we decided to stick together for the documantary project. we have narrowed our documentary down to few choices so far, without deciding on one. this project may become difficult if we start to slack, therefore i wont allow our group to get lazy.
After reading, Chapter 1 Introduction, i learned what a documentary could be, and the almost limitless possibilities about what a documentary is. It was cool to learn that documentaries can be about the future or the past, and how they should always involve actual people in actual situations. i learned that a documentary should almost always be nonfiction, which kind of surprised me. In a lot of documentaries include personal bias and that could be fiction in there words or actions. so i dont see how they can all be nonfiction.
